  1. I think one inventor in the 1600s actually held a metal ball in his hand while he slept, and if he had an eventful or inspiring dream he would drop the ball in a metal pail and wake up.
    I bet his wife thought he was a ton of fun...

  3. I think I may be one of the few writers who can sleep through anything, even a storm of ideas...very few things come between me and sleep :)

  4. The boyfriend hates me. If I have a thought in the middle of the night I'll wake him up and tell him about it. If I dont, I'll forget it. Even writing it down tends to be nonsense the next morning. I have to talk about the idea to cement it in my mind.
